We are currently at a loss for words as we write this post…….
Today Made the Final call and goodbyes to Former Chief Harold “Pappy” Campbell U/512. Thought you may be gone your memory will forever live on within the walls of the station you help build and the memories of all the time you was there serving the community through floods, ice storms, snow storms, tornadoes anything that came our way you stood at the Forefront of the department always ready to lead us in and have our back no matter what the situation was. There was absolutely nothing you couldn’t fix at the station whether it be personal issues all the way down to equipment you always stepped up to help no matter what happened, the true backbone of who we are today. We will miss you greatly “Pappy” we will take it from here Rest in Peace. Please keep his family and all members of not only the fire department but the community in your prayers as we deal with this tragic time and the loss of a true responder.
We would like to thank everyone who showed up today for the service as well as out of county mutual aid partners coming to cover so we can pay our respects to Former Chief Harold Campbell.
