Presidents’ Day is a chance to pause and think about the history that shaped Tooele County — and Benson Grist Mill has long been part of that story. 🇺🇸

While the Mill isn’t open right now, it still stands as a symbol of the hard work and determination that built this community. The stone walls, the timber beams, the craftsmanship — they’ve weathered generations and still speak for themselves. 🏛️🌾

Places like Benson remind us where we started and why that history matters. It’s part of who we are, and it continues to influence the community we’re proud to serve today.

At Benson Grist Mill, young hands once learned the value of hard work, helping their families and neighbors.

This Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we honor Dr. King’s belief in fairness, courage, and the power of the next generation.

“The time is always right to do what’s right.” – Martin Luther King Jr.

That lesson still matters for today—learning to lead with kindness, stand up for others, and care for the community they call home.
