Our community needs poll workers—and that could be YOU!

Poll workers help make Election Day run smoothly by:
• Checking in voters
• Assisting with voter registration
• Verifying photo IDs
• Processing absentee ballots

You can be a poll worker if you:
• Are a qualified voter in your county
• Can read and write English fluently
• Are NOT on the ballot for that election

✨ No experience? No problem!
Your local clerk provides training before Election Day.

This is a great opportunity for high school & college students (and anyone else!) to get involved, earn money, and support our democratic process.

🚧 Heads up, Stanley residents!

Sewer credits will be temporarily paused June 15 - August 1 due to the shutdown of Well #3 during Central Plant reconstruction.

✅ Planning to fill your pool?
Do so before June 15 and be sure to contact City Hall to receive the sewer credit on your July bill.

💧 PUBLIC WORKS WEEK – WATER DEPARTMENT FUN FACT 💧

The Stanley Water Department flushes approximately 50% of the city’s hydrants every year — that adds up to around 120 hydrants annually 🚒

Stanley’s central water plant has also been in operation since 1970, and there is only ONE other plant like the Northwest Plant in the State of Wisconsin.

Thank you to the crews who help keep clean, reliable water flowing throughout our community every day! 👏

💩 PUBLIC WORKS WEEK – SEWER DEPARTMENT FUN FACT 💩

The Stanley Sewer Department processes and presses around 80,000 gallons of sludge every week.

Not the prettiest job in town… but definitely one of the most important. 🚽💧

From maintenance to monitoring, our public works crews work behind the scenes every day to keep Stanley running strong.
