Olympia CUSD #16 Empowering learners to recognize & achieve personal growth for success.

The Olympia School District offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to prepare students to be successful in the 21st Century. The district represents eight communities in five different counties and encompasses 377 square miles in central Illinois. Approximately 2,000 students attend classes in three Pre-K through 5 elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. Olympia North Elementary (serving Danvers and Stanford) is located in Danvers; Olympia South Elementary (serving Atlanta, McLean, and Waynesville) is located in Atlanta; and Olympia West Elementary (serving Minier, Armington, and Hopedale) is located in Minier. Grades 6-12 students attend one campus located in rural McLean County near Stanford, Illinois.

ROAD WIN! The Spartans traveled to Decatur MacArthur tonight and played some really competitive volleyball — and all three teams came home with a WIN! Lots of hustle, teamwork, and energy on the court from all three levels tonight!

Freshman: W 2-0 | 25-11, 25-19
JV: W 2-0 | 25-15, 27-25
Varsity: W 2-1 | 17-25, 25-21, 25-12

Varsity really brought the fire tonight! After dropping the first set, they came out on fire and battled back to seal the 2-1 comeback victory! Proud of the fight, teamwork, and never-quit mentality from all three teams tonight.

OMS Golfers Take on the IESA Sectionals!

We are incredibly proud of these six OMS golfers who competed in the IESA Sectional yesterday and today!

Ian Welch
Baylor McDaniel
Jack Milligan
Elena Dilbeck
Harleigh Siliskie

Unlike many school sports, these golfers don't have a traditional season or an official OMS team. Instead, they put in the work on their own throughout the spring and summer, practicing, playing, and continuing to develop their game — and that dedication earned them the opportunity to compete at the IESA Sectional.
We couldn't be more proud of these six athletes for representing Olympia Middle School and putting their hard work to the test.
Congratulations, golfers! Your dedication and love for the game are something to be proud of!

Olympia West will be participating in an evacuation drill today starting at 8:45am. They will be walking down School Street from Olympia West to Minier Assembly of God. Minier PD and local agencies will assist in this drill. Please be mindful of our students and staff walking during this time
