Our crews had a fantastic time visiting our Gentry county elementary students from Stanberry, Albany, and King City these past few weeks! We love getting out into the community, especially when it means sharing what we do with such enthusiastic young minds. Our paramedics and EMTs gave the kids a guided tour of the ambulance, demonstrated how our life-saving equipment works, and answered some truly excellent questions.A big thank you to the staff and students for the warm welcome. Future first responders in the making!

Sunday Wrap-Up: Food, Fun, & Festivities

A big thank you to all our amazing family and friends who came out this past Sunday for a day of fun, food, and festivities and and making this weekend gathering a huge success. From the incredible food, to the great conversations, it was the perfect way to celebrate our hard work and dedication together as family and not just as co-workers. Each one of us receiving a door prize was just a cherry on the cake. The kids also had a great time as they had a ton of fun playing in the cool water sprinklers and taking the plunge in the play pool! Thank you to the on duty crews for taking the time to help set everything up so everyone could enjoy the day. We all appreciate it! A big shout out to Country Showers LLC for providing all the amazing food that was enjoyed by everyone! Grand River Ambulance District would like to say thank you and we look forward to getting everyone together again soon!
