These kiddos have finalized their bracelet sales and presented the 5 and 2 Abundance Food Pantry with $371.00 and this will go to help 40-50 families in need. Congrats on a job well done!

🇺🇸📍 TODAY IS THE DAY, STAMPING GROUND! 🌿

Tonight is the “Stamping Ground New Ground(s)” Community Forum, an opportunity for residents, property owners, and community members to learn more about ongoing zoning update discussions and share ideas about the future of Stamping Ground.

This meeting is intended to encourage community discussion regarding how properties are currently classified and used, potential zoning updates, and opportunities for residents and property owners to ask questions and provide feedback before any future recommendations are finalized.

Topics of discussion may include:

✅ Growth and development opportunities
✅ Preserving community character and history
✅ Property classifications and future zoning districts
✅ Split zoning and rezoning considerations
✅ The future land use of the downtown business district and what future development could look like for those properties
✅ Understanding how zoning can affect permits, land use, and future planning

This forum is one step in an ongoing planning process that includes community discussions, ordinance drafting, and future public hearings. Community input gathered during these meetings will help guide the direction of the project moving forward.

Citizens of Stamping Ground, this is our first community workshop meeting with Planning and Zoning on suggested rezoning of various properties. This will be an informative meeting to elicit feedback from the community.
Properties with a proposed change should have received a letter ahead of the meeting.

The City of Stamping Ground would like to give a big THANK YOU to Jailer Derran Broyles and his crew for working hard - even in the rain - to get the new American flags hung throughout town!

We truly appreciate all of their hard work over the past few weeks helping to improve our community by installing the new street signs, switching out the banners, removing the old flag pole holders, installing the new holders, and proudly putting up the new flags. 🇺🇲

We would also like to thank Wylie Messer and GCHS Great Crossing Skills USA students Jacob Jones and Brian Ortiz for their hard work, making the flag pole holders.

Their dedication and continued support do not go unnoticed, and we are grateful for everything they have done for our town and community.
