She’ll be joining us to introduce Parents as Teachers (PAT), a free home-visiting program that helps parents support their children’s development and educational needs through personalized guidance, resources, and support. We’re looking forward to learning more! 💙

Baby Safety Month highlights the importance of creating a safe and healthy environment for babies and families. Parents and caregivers have many responsibilities, but keeping little ones safe is always a top priority! 🍼

Here are a few simple baby safety tips:

• Anchor large furniture and TVs.
• Use safety gates at the top and bottom of stairs.
• Cover wall outlets and secure cabinets.
• Remove blinds and curtains with long or looped cords.
• Install smoke detectors and test them twice a year.
• Keep a fire extinguisher on every level of your home.
• Check your hot water heater and use a temperature guard.
• Remove small or broken toys that could be choking hazards.
• Test older paint for lead and address any concerns.
• Protect sharp corners and remove poisonous plants.
• Register baby products so you can be notified about recalls.

A few simple precautions can make a big difference in keeping babies safe! 💙
