Today, we commemorate the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost.

May we continue to honor those we lost, hold their families in our hearts, and remember the bravery of the first responders who ran toward danger to save others. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Early voting begins tomorrow for the Democratic primary! Starting Monday, August 3 - Sunday, August 9, you can vote early in-person at the Stamford Government Center.

Early voting hours are 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, with extended hours from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 4 and Thursday, August 6.

Join us every Wednesday beginning July 22 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at our campaign headquarters (1250 Summer Street, Suite 307) for our Wednesday volunteer nights!

We will have various activities including phone banking and post card/letter writing for you to take part in to help our local and national endorsed Democratic candidates get elected.

Bring your cell phone, headphones, and a computer or tablet with you and we will supply the training and fun! Parking is free under the building. Even an hour of your time is helpful, so join us and share with your friends!

We are saddened to hear about the passing of Nicola Tarzia. Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Nicola Tarzia. As a lifelong Stamford resident, small business owner, and community leader, Nic spent so much of his life giving back to the city he loved. From his years of service on the Stamford Board of Education to his advocacy for countless community causes through the Tarzia Foundation and organizations like Dollars for Scholars and Toys for Tots, Nic was committed to creating opportunities for Stamford’s children and families.

He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him, and his impact on the Stamford community will not be forgotten. I extend my condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.
