The Village of Stamford was awarded the Nebraska Game and Parks Grant for the Park Project! This is awesome news!!!!

The board of commissioners approved grant funding for outdoor recreation projects and recreational trail projects.

Due to the water testing positive for E. Coli- there is a boil order in place effective immediately.

Until further notice
Please boil your water before consuming it as a precaution. We do not think there is any contamination, this is purely precautionary. There is also bottled water at the community building. Please contact the clerk 308-995-7580 with any questions.

There is still bottled water at the community building for anyone that may need it.

Currently, water is being pumped from Orleans, however please conserve water(please-no watering yards or excessive use of water) also please refrain from any hazardous fire starting activities. If you have issues, please do not hesitate to reach out to the clerk. Her cell phone is 308-995-7580.

📚 Something new is coming to Stamford!

We’re excited to announce that a Little Free Library® will soon be installed at Stamford Park near the playground!
It’s a free, 24/7 “take a book, leave a book” box that brings neighbors together and keeps reading alive in our community. 💛

➡️ Ribbon cutting and grand opening coming soon!
Stay tuned for the date — and start setting aside gently used books you’d like to share. Children’s books, cookbooks, and family favorites are especially welcome.

The cardboard trailer is out of service for the time being. The company that takes our cardboard has a broken down baler. It will not be repaired for at least a month. We will update when we know more.
