You have those days when you are swamped and struggling to get everything done when a bright spot can make your whole week! Our bright spot today was by two very amazing people that bring sunshine and happiness everywhere they go! We were serenaded with a personalized and special song which included treats with every verse! Bob and Debbie Minks you have no idea of the joy and happiness that you brought to us “city girls” today and every day when you stop in the office! In our opinion you are the absolute best part of living in Stafford! And the perfect example of the best Stafford has to offer! We appreciate you two, and admire you more than you will ever know! Thank you for being so amazing and for always taking the time to make others feel so special! You are truly a great blessing to us and our community! And we love you both dearly!

As we continue to seek grants and work to complete the large projects going into the new uptown space we received an amazing blessing today! A very special donor who has requested to remain anonymous provided us with funds to build and plant our butterfly habitat garden. The plants will be especially chosen to attract swarms of butterflies for all to enjoy. It is because of such kind and generous donors and grant organizations that the vision for this area continues to develop and move closer to being the area that we want it to be for the community! We want to extend a huge thank you to our generous donor and can’t wait to get started on this area! Stay tuned as we continue to develop the area! And be looking for a contest to pick the perfect name for the area!

Stafford Police Department Seeking Information Regarding Fatal Dog Attack

The Stafford Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a dog and its owner following a dog attack that occurred on Friday, June 5, at approximately 11:00 a.m. in the Newell Housing Complex.

According to information received, a black dog with white spots or patches attacked another dog, resulting in fatal injuries to the victim dog.

Officers are seeking to locate both the black-and-white dog and its owner as part of the ongoing investigation. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information regarding the identity or whereabouts of the dog and its owner is encouraged to contact the Stafford Police Department.

Stop by and support the STARS Lemonade Stand this morning!

Mark your calendars and plan to attend! Help us raise funds for the fight against childhood cancer.

We will be hosting a lemonade stand for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation which supports kids fighting cancer and research for a cure at the elementary school on June 3, 2026.

The class schedule will be as follows:
Kindergarten 10:00-10:30 am
First Grade 10:30 - 11:00 am
Second Grade 11:00 - 11:30 am
Third & Fourth Grade 11:30 am - 12:00 pm

We will challenge each class to see who raises the most!! Supporting kids with cancer one cup at a time!
