Today, city staff, police, and fire held our annual meeting at our Emergency Operations Center to go emergency planning and testing. During this meeting, Chief Stewart made sure our backup procedures worked and emergency protocols were discussed.

These type of meetings ensure we are ready to remain operational and serve our residents should there be an emergency.

Unfortunately due to the weather conditions, we are cancelling tonight's Concert in the Park event. โ˜น๏ธ
With the rain lasting longer than expected, staff are unable to safely and properly prepare the event.

At this time, we do not know if the event will be rescheduled. Weโ€™ll share updates if that changes.
