SCFR Alumni Highlight: Chris. Chris has been serving at Aquia Harbor Rescue Squad since 1989. Chris has held numerous positions within the organization. She worked her way from EMT to Paramedic and then bridged to nursing. Chris is very active with the county Recruitment committee and helping new EMS providers complete release requirements

SCFR Alumni Highlight: Ronnie. Ronnie began volunteering 1977 and still riding the Engine today. His volunteer career began with Falmouth Fire Dept and he moved to White Oak Fire Dept where he is currently serving as Chief. Ronnie also has a combination of 33 years with Dahlgren and Fort Belvoir as a career firefighter.

During these hours, 10% of all sales at the participating Chick-fil-A locations will be donated directly to Brooke Volunteer Fire and Rescue.

Congratulations to the members of King George Fire & Rescue and Fredericksburg Fire Department whose teamwork, advanced clinical care, and professionalism helped save the life of a critically injured motorcycle crash victim. Congratulations to Battalion Chief Dan Dixon, Captain Matthew Russell, Lieutenant Triston Beverly, Master Technician Elliot Ganson, Battalion Chief Chris Smith, DPO Geoffrey Knight, Firefighter Haley Zappos, Firefighter Charles Bullock, and Firefighter Marley Ramirez-Tuthill.
