Sneak Peek: New City Hall

Things are taking shape at the future home of St. Marys City Hall at 2603 CC Osborne Rd.

Renovations at our new location began on May 4, and we are excited to share a look at some of the progress happening inside. There’s still work ahead, but each step brings us closer to a new City Hall that will serve our community for years to come.

City offices are closed today, Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. We will reopen tomorrow, Tuesday, September 8 at 8 AM.
Trash collection services will operate on the normal schedule.

🚧 Community Safety Update 🚧

We wanted to provide an update regarding a situation that was brought to our attention through a community page. A photo was posted of a damaged manhole on Aiden Court that had created a potentially dangerous opening.

Thankfully, someone also contacted a member of our Public Works team. Staff responded, secured the area, and temporarily repaired the damaged manhole within hours of the original post.

We appreciate our residents looking out for their neighborhoods and bringing safety concerns to our attention. As a reminder, if you see an issue like this after normal business hours, on weekends, or on holidays, please don’t rely solely on social media to report it. Call the non-emergency dispatch number at 912-729-1442 so the appropriate personnel can be notified as quickly as possible.

The City’s Public Works Department maintains on-call personnel specifically to respond to urgent situations like this outside of normal working hours.

Thank you to the resident who brought attention to the issue and to our Public Works employees for their quick response and repair. Keeping our community safe is a team effort, and we appreciate everyone who helps us do that.
