My name is Jordyn Elston, and I am a doctoral researcher conducting a study on authentic leadership and social media engagement at Carolina University alongside Primary Investigator, Dr. Mariama Njie, faculty at Carolina University. Our research is focused on exploring whether professional social media use may predict authentic leadership behaviors, a topic that has garnered considerable interest in the field of leadership. The Institutional Review Board at Carolina University has approved my study. As part of our research, I am identifying individuals who meet specific criteria for participation. Should you be interested and meet the following requirements, we would highly appreciate your involvement:
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Currently hold a professional leadership role
- Reside in the United States
- Use social media for professional purposes (e.g., networking, communication, or leadership-related engagement)
Please note, however, that individuals meeting any of the following conditions will unfortunately not be eligible for participation:
- Under 18 years of age
- Do not hold a professional leadership role
- Do not reside in the United States
- Do not use social media for professional purposes (e.g., networking, communication, or leadership-related engagement)
The research activities will involve taking surveys, and they are expected to take approximately 10-15 minutes.
