This is a friendly reminder that tomorrow, Wednesday, September 9, is a Late Start Wednesday for all schools except the Michelle Obama Early Childhood Academic Center and the RGSD Success Academy.

Late Start Wednesday Schedule:

High School - 8:30 AM
Elementary Schools - 9:05 AM
Middle Schools - 9:45 AM

*Michelle Obama Early Childhood Academic Center and the RGSD Success Academy do not observe Late Start Wednesdays. Sessions start at regular times Monday - Friday.

Attendance Matters at RGSD

Did you know absenteeism in the first month of school can predict poor attendance throughout the school year? Half the students who miss 2-4 days in September go on to miss nearly a month of school.

Way to go Rams!

Nate Pool and his Riverview Gardens High football teammates want to change the narrative from the team's one-win campaign last year.

The Riverview Gardens senior quarterback made that clear Saturday against Principia in the season opener for both teams as he led the host Rams to a 66-28 victory.

"We came into the game as the underdog, and we want to change the season," Pool said. "We knew we had an advantage against their (defensive line), so we used that advantage."
