Food Outreach 🌱 Nutrition for Good. Louis area, including various counties in Illinois. Many of these clients are too weak to prepare meals, much less shop for food.

Since 1988, Food Outreach has provided medically tailored meals and nutrition services to individuals living with HIV and cancer, nourishing health, dignity, and hope throughout Missouri and Illinois. Food Outreach is a nutrition resource for men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS or undergoing treatment for cancer in 137 zip codes throughout the metro St. Others lose their appetite due to

the disease or medication regimen. Still others are undernourished because they are poor or because their disease has made them poor.

The fourth and final wildcard has arrived! Meet Chasity Valentino, The Legend, and she’s ready to bring 15 years of experience to the inaugural Food Outreach Drag Invitational! 👑✨

With 15 years in the art of female impersonation, Chasity has traveled nationally, competed at multiple national levels, and continues to entertain audiences while sharing her talents as a show director. Now, she’s ready to bring all that experience, polish, and stage presence to the Drag Invitational!

Chasity is fundraising to earn extra points toward the competition, with a goal of $250. Help her make her mark while supporting Food Outreach’s mission of providing medically tailored meals and nutrition services to individuals living with HIV or cancer.

From 7 friends to 144 ZIP codes. 💙

In 1988, at the height of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, a small group of caring individuals in St. Louis began cooking meals for seven friends living with HIV.

There was no grand plan. No big organization. Just people who saw a need and decided to show up.

That simple act of compassion grew into Food Outreach.

Today, we provide medically tailored meals and nutrition support to individuals facing HIV or cancer across Missouri and Illinois—because more than 35 years later, we still believe food is more than food. It is care. It is dignity. It is community.

We may have grown, but we've never forgotten where we started. 🌱

The third wildcard is stepping into the spotlight! Meet Kaycee, the current Miss Gay City of Columbia USofA, and she’s ready to bring her talents to the inaugural Food Outreach Drag Invitational! 👑🎤

After moving to St. Louis from Columbia last September, Kaycee has hit the ground running, performing across the city’s theaters and drag bars. With a background in musical theatre, she’s one of Missouri’s singing and dancing divas—and she’s ready to put those talents to work on the Drag Invitational stage!

Kaycee is fundraising to earn extra points toward the competition, with a goal of $250. Help her make her mark while supporting Food Outreach’s mission of providing medically tailored meals and nutrition services to individuals living with HIV or cancer.

Every meal prepared at Food Outreach begins with care, compassion, and a commitment to nourishing our neighbors—and Chef Ray brings those values to the kitchen every day.

As our Assistant Chef, Chef Ray helps prepare the delicious, medically tailored meals that support the health and well-being of individuals living with HIV and cancer. Working alongside our culinary team, he ensures every meal is thoughtfully prepared, meets our high nutrition standards, and is made with the quality and consistency our clients deserve.

Chef Ray is passionate about using food to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. Whether he's preparing meals, supporting kitchen operations, or working alongside volunteers, his dedication helps ensure every client receives not just nourishment, but dignity and care.

A strong mission starts with a strong foundation, and Lacey helps keep everything running behind the scenes.

As our Manager of Administration, Lacey oversees the day-to-day administrative operations that support every part of Food Outreach. From coordinating office processes and managing organizational systems to assisting staff and ensuring things run efficiently, she helps create the structure that allows our team to stay focused on serving our clients and community.

Lacey is committed to making sure our organization operates smoothly and effectively, knowing that every detail contributes to our ability to provide medically tailored meals and nutrition services to individuals living with HIV and cancer. Her dedication, organization, and behind-the-scenes leadership make a lasting impact across our entire organization.
