On Friday, it was the fifth day of 5th grade! Students had fun with the #5 and celebrating the end of the first week of school. 5th graders wore the #5 or 5 of something; they shared 5 items in their brown bios; and completed a scavenger hunt around the building! Did you know there are 100 yellow tiles in the 5th grade hallway? Point also has a lot of staff with exactly 5 letters in their last name!

Today was busy from start to finish! We began the day with our first assembly of the year and then went immediately into practicing our safety drills. Throughout the day, students traveled around the school on the Expectations Expedition to review school wide expectations. It was a great end to a full week. We hope everyone has a restful weekend!

The new school year is here, and Point Sports Camp with Mrs. Baker and Mrs. Kroenig through Mehlville Community Education is returning soon, too!

Grades 2-3 meet on Tuesdays at 8 a.m. from September 8 to October 13 and November 10 to December 15.

Grades 4-5 meet on Wednesdays at 8 a.m. from September 9 to October 21 and November 4 to December 26.

We had so much to be excited for at our Meet the Teacher Night. Not only did students get to visit their classrooms and teachers; they also got to play on our new playgrounds. It was a great night to get pumped for the new school year!
