Your SLMPD officers are Investing in Safety when it matters most.

Last night, Mobile Reserve officers and Anti-Crime detectives responded to the area of 10th and Washington after observing a group of armed males looking into vehicles.

After attempting to stop and confront the group, the males ran, but were too slow for our officers and detectives.

Two adults and two juveniles were arrested and five fi****ms were recovered, two of which were reported stolen. One of the handguns was equipped with a full-auto conversion device.

The two adults were taken to the Justice Center and booked. The two juveniles were taken to the juvenile building and held on their charges.
