We’re hiring a Youth Career Counselor at the Missouri Job Center of St. Charles County and this role is so much more than a typical “case management” position.
This is a chance to make a real impact in the lives of young people ages 16–24 who are navigating challenges like finishing school, finding a career path, overcoming barriers, building confidence, and creating a future they may not have thought was possible.
Our Youth Career Counselors:
✨ Build meaningful relationships with young people
✨ Help participants set goals and create plans for success
✨ Connect youth to training, education, jobs, and supportive services
✨ Encourage and motivate participants through difficult seasons
✨ Partner with schools, employers, and community organizations
✨ Celebrate milestones big and small - from earning a HISET to landing a first job
No two days look the same. One moment you may be helping someone enroll in training, the next you may be coaching interview skills, coordinating supportive services, or simply being the steady support a young person needs.
