Blessings to Others

Blessings to Others is a 501c3 charitable, non-profit based in St. Louis, MO. Providing affordable housing and life skills to individuals and families.

Tim Grimmett received a vision from God, based on 1 Cor 16:2 “one day each week we should set aside money so that we don’t need to make collections when a situation arises.”

Based on this experience, Tim decided to take action. Money was used to assist others, and then to assist people who needed housing due to hurricane Katrina and were forced to relocate elsewhere in the U.S. Those who found th

emselves in the St. Louis area added to the already growing number of homeless in our area. Blessings To Others have made it our mission to assist displaced families by assisting them in obtaining a home and the means to once again live without the need of further public assistance. In 2012, Blessings To Others partnered with the Community Hope Project, a like-minded organization that assists families and individuals in training in life management and advancement skills. The basic skills needed, such as job interviews, money management, and personal healthcare. It has become a perfect fit for the Blessings To Others values and is a much-needed program for our city. Blessings To Others strive to help families re-establish a successful way of life and stabilize growing neighborhoods by homeownership and as responsible self-sufficient Americans.

𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗕𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝟵𝟵𝟭𝟱 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭𝟬:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 𝘁𝗼 𝟮:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠!!!

Our last workday was incredible! About 14 volunteers came out ready to serve and the amount of work completed in just a few hours was amazing!

The entire yard was cleaned up, the old fence was removed, and brand new siding was installed on the front and side of the house. The transformation has already been huge and we are so thankful for every person who gave their time and energy to help make it happen!

Now we are ready for the next phase of the project!

On June 27th we will:
• Paint the new siding
• Put the fence back in place
• Finish more cleanup and yard work in the back

This is such a great opportunity to serve alongside others and help create a safe and beautiful home for a family in need. Whether you have construction experience or just a willing heart, we would love to have you join us!

What an incredible day of serving at 9915 Breckenridge this past Saturday!

We are so thankful for everyone who came out to help during our Blessings to Others workday on June 6th. About 14 amazing volunteers showed up ready to work and made a huge impact in just a few hours!

Together, we completely cleaned up the yard, removed the fence, installed new siding on the front and side of the house, and made major progress toward getting this home ready for a family in need. Seeing people come together to serve with such generosity and heart was truly encouraging.
This project would not move forward without people like you giving your time, energy, and support!

We are getting ready for our next workday on Saturday, June 27th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the same location, 9915 Breckenridge.

On the 27th, we plan to paint the new siding, put the fence back in place, finish additional yard cleanup in the back, and more!

We would love to have more helping hands join us. Whether you can stay the whole time or just stop by for a little while, your help matters.

Be apart of our community service day in support of Blessings to Others (BTO), our nonprofit dedicated to providing homes for those in need. We will be working on exterior home and yard improvements including siding replacement, fence repair, yard cleanup, and adding mulch chips to the backyard to help improve the property and reduce long term costs.
