Monroe Elementary Counselor Besty Nunn earned the 2026 Counselor Recognition Award from the Child Advocacy Center of Northeast Missouri.

This recognition is given to individuals who go above and beyond to support and protect children in our community. Betsy demonstrates this every day through her work with students and families.

There's no better way to remember that goal than to experience it firsthand. We are so fortunate to get to experience elementary school through the eyes of our kids and love our Monroe family!”
