Established in 2006, the Saint Augusta Fire Department is comprised of 30 highly trained and dedicated on-call firefighters assigned to 1 station located in the middle of the City. The Saint Augusta Fire Department provides fire protection, rescue, hazardous materials response, fire prevention/education, & mutual aid assistance to neighboring areas.

Last night was a beautiful night for a baseball game. Our training for the night involved us playing the St. Augusta 13U baseball team! Firefighters started the game in full gear and SCBA air packs. Thank you to everyone who donated the burgers and door prizes. The boys were amazing sports and had a great night with us!

Our training these past few weeks has been on search and rescue methods. We use our smoke machines to smoke up the house then we practice our search and rescue techniques. This past week we practiced rescuing a victim out of a window with the help of a ladder. Thank you Lutgen Company for donating the house for our use. We appreciate the opportunity to have this valuable training.
