Concho Aviation will have a helicopter on the north side of the lake tomorrow afternoon. They will not come South of Gold Mine Road or the short cut road. They will be attempting to thin out the feral hog population. I apologize for the short notice but tomorrow is the only time we could schedule for several months.

Several years ago the the White River Water District Board of Directors voted to allow property owners at the lake to use ATVs, UTVs and 4 wheelers on lake property. Property owners are required to purchase an annual ATV sticker from the Water District. Myself and Officer McAdoo have recently stopped several non residents on ATVs and had them removed from lake property. We have also talked to a few residents who do not have their annual sticker. It is important that the lake sticker is placed on the drivers side so they may be seen.

I have been contacted by officials with Texas Parks and Wildlife and advised that they will be requiring Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) stickers on ATVs, UTVs and 4 wheelers operated at the lake. The cost of the OHV sticker is $16 annually.
