Turn your favorite street into a street of dreams by participating in the Springfield Adopt-A-Street Program! This volunteer program partners the City of Springfield with individuals, community groups, business owners, schools, churches, and service clubs to promote community service and make city streets litter-free.
🗑️ Adopt a street for free and commit to at least four cleanups per year: one during each season.
🗑️ The Springfield Public Works Department provides safety guidelines, volunteer liability release forms, bags, gloves, and safety vests.
🗑️ City crews will collect and remove the debris gathered during your cleanup.
🗑️ After each cleanup, volunteers must complete a brief cleanup report. Once completed, a recognition sign featuring the organization’s name will be installed near the adopted roadway.
🗑️ The agreement is valid for one year and can be renewed annually.
