Did You Know? The Free Summer Lunch Program starts today! Free weekday lunches are available for all students ages 18 and under at multiple pickup locations across Springfield, helping keep kids fueled all summer long. Thanks to the Springfield Police Division and the Resident Resources Network for helping make it possible!

Pickup locations:

- Ronez
- Roger L. Evans Community Policing Substation
- Simon Kenton Elementary
- Horace Mann Elementary (beginning July 6)

NOTICE: City Hall Utility Billing Window Hours Are Changing

Beginning Monday, June 15, the City’s Utility Billing office hours will change.

NEW HOURS: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
(previously 8:00 AM–5:00 PM)

Please plan visits accordingly. You can still access your billing information and make payments online anytime through the City’s online portal.

FLOOD RECOVERY HELP AVAILABLE

Residents impacted by recent flooding in Clark County may be eligible for flood cleanup assistance through the Clark County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) and Southern Baptist Disaster Relief.

Help may be available for:
- Muck-out services
- Mold remediation
- Flood cleanup support

If you need assistance, contact Clark County EMA at 937-521-2177 or [email protected].

If you reach voicemail, please leave your name, address, phone number and a brief description of your needs so recovery partners can follow up.

Residents returning to flooded homes are encouraged to use caution, document damage with photos and keep cleanup records for insurance purposes.

Apply for the 2026 Bike Rodeo by May 29!

The Springfield Police Division's Bike Rodeo returns June 5 at 9 AM at the Eagle City Sports Complex. The Bike Rodeo gives kids aged 6—13 the chance to learn hands-on with police about bike safety, laws and path etiquette. Kids will also have a chance to win a FREE BIKE!

The participant must be able to ride a bicycle without training wheels, must provide their own helmet and must have a bicycle in good condition with properly functioning tires, chain and brakes. Participants must be between the ages of 6 and 13 years old. Participants must be physically capable of riding a bicycle for up to an hour. (On a bike path; ages 6-8 will ride approximately 30 minutes per ride.)
