The Springfield Immigrant Advocacy Network is hosting an anti-racism training on the following dates from 10 AM to 4 PM:

We have been requested to send information to our members, urging everyone to arrive by 9:00 AM to participate in a peaceful protest.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem will be in Springfield tomorrow, May 7th, to host a press conference at 10:00am in front of the Governor’s Mansion. She wants to use the Governor’s Mansion as a backdrop while she scolds Governor Pritzker, blue states, and sanctuary cities.

The 50501 Springfield group is calling for a pop-up protest to “welcome” Kristi Noem to Illinois! Please arrive at the Governor’s Mansion at 410 E. Jackson St., Springfield at 9:00am. Bring your cowbells, tambourines, drums, air horns, pots and pans, and let’s make some NOISE!!!

Kristi plans to set up on the paved plaza in front of the Governor’s Mansion, so let’s gather on and around the large square lawn, known as the “Y block.”

Please be aware that federal officers will be present, please protect your identity.

Let’s make some good trouble! See you tomorrow!
