It's the last day of the spring legislative session in Springfield. We're expected to take up a number of bills today, but most notably the state budget. House Republicans continue to fight to make life more affordable for Illinois families.

Democrats claim the budget has been available because they put the Governor's proposal into bills in the House and Senate. However, the real language is likely to be quite different and probably dropped in the final hour with little time for review. This is not transparency.
