Eid ul Adha is meant to remind humanity what sacrifice, mercy, and moral responsibility truly mean. Not performative faith. Not nationalism. Not power. Not greed disguised as policy.

Yet we are living in a world spiritually exhausted by endless human suffering.

From Palestine to Sudan.
Congo to Somalia.
Yemen to Syria.
Haiti to Cuba.
Ukraine to Myanmar.

Entire populations are living through war, famine, displacement, political instability, economic collapse, occupation, sanctions, corruption, and generational trauma while world leaders debate narratives instead of protecting human life.

And the forces driving destruction do not belong to one religion, ethnicity, nationality, or political ideology. They exist everywhere power overtakes humanity. Where profit matters more than people. Where domination is valued above dignity.

Ordinary people across the world are paying the price. Families searching rubble for loved ones. Children growing up surrounded by violence orphaned and amputated. Parents choosing between hunger, migration, or survival. Communities collapsing under systems built on exploitation and indifference.

But humanity transcends borders too. Compassion does too. Conscience does too.

is not only about sacrifice in ritual. It is about what humanity must be willing to sacrifice within itself:

arrogance, cruelty, hatred, corruption, dehumanization, exploitation, and the addiction to power.

The true test of civilization is not how loudly we speak about morality, democracy, religion, or freedom. It is whether we defend human dignity consistently, even when it is politically inconvenient.

This Eid:

Pray for the grieving. Pray for the displaced. Pray for the oppressed. Pray for the forgotten. Pray for every child learning the sound of violence before the sound of peace.

And never allow mass human suffering to become normalized.

Eid Mubarak.

Memorial Day is not about glorifying war. It is about honoring sacrifice.

It is about remembering the sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, and friends who never came home after answering the call to serve this nation.

And if we truly honor them, then we also carry a responsibility:

To make sure future generations are never treated as disposable pieces in political games, corporate interests, or endless power struggles disguised as patriotism.

When we send Americans into conflict, it must be for reasons rooted in integrity, necessity, and the genuine defense of human life and national security, not ego, profit, political theater, or global chess matches played by people far removed from the battlefield.

Too many families carry folded flags instead of their loved ones. Too many children grew up without parents. Too many parents buried children they expected to outlive them.

The cost of war is never paid by politicians alone. It is paid in blood, trauma, grief, amputations, silence, PTSD, empty seats at dinner tables, and lives forever altered.

The greatest way to honor the fallen is not only to remember them today, but to value human life enough to stop treating service members as pawns tomorrow.

Honor the fallen. Protect the living. Demand accountability before sacrifice.

⚠️ PSA FOR IMMIGRANT FAMILIES & MIXED-STATUS HOUSEHOLDS ⚠️

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced on May 22, 2026, that it will grant Adjustment of Status “only in extraordinary circumstances.”

For years, many eligible immigrants, including spouses of U.S. citizens, were often able to remain in the United States while applying for lawful permanent residency (green cards) through Adjustment of Status (Form I-485).

🚨This new policy announcement signals a major shift.

According to USCIS, Adjustment of Status is a “discretionary benefit” and not an automatic entitlement. The agency states that, moving forward, approval will generally be limited to “extraordinary circumstances,” potentially requiring more applicants to complete immigrant visa processing abroad instead of remaining inside the United States.

What this could mean:
• Increased denials of I-485 Adjustment of Status applications
• Greater pressure to pursue consular processing outside the U.S.
• Family separation risks
• Delays in work authorization and travel permissions
• Increased legal uncertainty for mixed-status families and humanitarian cases

USCIS has not yet fully clarified:
• how pending cases will be handled
• whether immediate relatives of U.S. citizens will be treated differently
• what qualifies as “extraordinary circumstances”
• whether legal challenges will alter implementation

If you or your family may be impacted:
• Do NOT rely solely on social media summaries
• Speak with a licensed immigration attorney or DOJ-accredited representative
• Review your case carefully before international travel or withdrawing any applications
