Celebrating Black Business Month with this event. Thank you for the partnership Black Lives Matter SPI, Springfield Equal Justice Project and The Springfield Project!

In honor of Black Business Month, recognized every August, Black Lives Matter SPI and Springfield Black Chamber of Commerce - IL invite you to join us for a film screening of the classic movie "Rosewood". Following the movie, a panel of experts will discuss the economic and cultural climate that Black businesses face here in Springfield, IL and how we as a community can contribute to their continued success.

Our ultimate goal is to create an opportunity for learning, growth and healing within our community.

This event is organized with the support and partnership of Springfield Equal Justice Project and The Springfield Project as a part of our collective efforts to build a better Springfield.

8.21.22, Hoogland Center for the Arts

Doors open at 12:30pm. Event begins promptly at 1:00pm
