Heat related illnesses can happen quickly and be very dangerous, so it's important to limit your time outside in the heat, stay hydrated and check on your neighbors. Pregnant people, infants and young children, and older Vermonters are at increased risk for heat-related illnesses!

Good morning, everyone. Unfortunately, illness has struck our office so we are closed again for in person work today. Staff are working remotely as much as possible. We will be back in person tomorrow!

If you are on a Medicare Advantage Plan and are unhappy with your coverage March 31st is your last day to drop this plan and switch back to Original Medicare.

The Valley Health Connections staff and Board want to say "thank you" to the Town of Springfield voters for supporting us again this year. The money reserved for Valley Health Connections goes right back into the community.

In 2025 we served:
🏠617 Springfield Residents.
🤝328 Springfield Residents came to us for help navigating health insurance (Vermont Health Connect, Medicaid, Medicare).
📝122 social service enrollments (3squares, fuel assistance, etc)
🦷$12,951 towards dental care
💊$8,505 of purchased medications.

If you are looking to work on your Vermont Health Coverage this weekend, The Vermont Health Connect phone lines will be open for extended hours!

Reminder that December 15th is the last day to make changes to have them active for January 1st. January 15th is the last day of open enrollment with changes effective for February 1st.

Sign up or change your plan by 12/15 for health coverage starting 1/1/26. Our Customer Support Center is extending its hours today & this weekend. Call 855-899-9600. Or do it on-line at www.VermontHealthConnect.gov.
