2nd grade kicked off their first unit in Reading which is all about Change. ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ‚ Each class participated in a โ€˜Book Tastingโ€™, getting a glimpse of whatโ€™s inside each book, doing activities to go along with them. Itโ€™s the perfect unit as the leaves begin to change color.

It is going to be a great 1st day! To help our car line run as smoothly and efficiently as possible this afternoon, please take a moment to read the following procedures.

Every vehicle must have a car tag with your childโ€™s name(s) clearly displayed. This helps us quickly identify students and keeps our car line moving safely and efficiently.

๐ŸŒ‡ ๐€๐Ÿ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ง๐จ๐จ๐ง ๐‚๐š๐ซ ๐‹๐ข๐ง๐ž
- Afternoon car line will be a ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐›๐ฅ๐ž ๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐ž.
- Cars will enter the car line area ๐จ๐ง๐ž ๐š๐ญ ๐š ๐ญ๐ข๐ฆ๐ž.
- The lanes will alternate, with one car entering at a time.
- A staff member will be outside to help direct traffic.
- A staff member will call students' names, calling 4 names from one lane, then 4
names from the other lane.
- You will be given a stop number. This is where your child will meet you.
- Please ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ฒ ๐ข๐ง ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฏ๐ž๐ก๐ข๐œ๐ฅ๐ž. A staff member will assist your child.
- When exiting the car line, ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ž ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ง ๐‘๐ˆ๐†๐‡๐“ ๐จ๐ง๐ฅ๐ฒ, even when a staff member is not
present directing traffic.

We can't wait to see everyone tomorrow! To help our car line run as smoothly and efficiently as possible, please take a moment to read the following procedures.

- Morning car line will be a single lane.
- Please ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ฒ ๐ข๐ง ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฏ๐ž๐ก๐ข๐œ๐ฅ๐ž. Teachers will be outside to assist your children as they
exit the car.
- Please have your childโ€™s ๐›๐š๐œ๐ค๐ฉ๐š๐œ๐ค ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐๐ฒ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ ๐จ before arriving.
- Morning car line will begin at 8:15AM
- When leaving the car line, ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ž ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ง ๐‘๐ˆ๐†๐‡๐“ ๐จ๐ง๐ฅ๐ฒ out of the parking lot.
- If you arrive after 8:40 please take your child to the front office to check them in.
The doors by the car line will be locked at 8:40.
- Parents will be able to park and walk thier child in on the ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐š๐ฒ of school.
