I put out a bunch of new books this afternoon. Children's books, young teens, as I noticed the kids books were getting low. I also put some new adult books out, quite a few classics, some Poe for the coming fall season and others that would probably be ok for older teens also. I have also gotten my hands on a rather large number of books geared to young teen/tween girls who like horses, so let me know if you have a child looking for something like that. Hey, all! Sorry I haven't posted in forever. Had some health issues we've been dealing with. If you have been by lately, you may have noticed we have been working on updating the paint on the Little Library. We have also been painting the addition we are planning on putting up, affectionately known as the children's annex. It is almost ready. Another coat of paint and some decorating and we should be good to go. Then we will have more room for additional books, children's and teen's in one, adult's in the other.

Also, I want to thank whoever left the books on my doorstep for donation. Much appreciated. If you have books you would like to donate and there isn't room in the library, feel free to leave them by my front door or go ahead and check whether we are home. We keep boxes in the basement for replacement. Please also let me know if you are looking for certain types of books, either by posting here or writing in the notebook in the library. I have at times given away bags of books to individuals looking for certain ages for their children or for tutoring. I tend to have a larger number of children's books than teen or adult, but will take requests for any age and also all donations.

I put out some more kids books last week. Just forgot to post. Also, I have an addition to my Little Library I will be putting up as soon as I can get it painted and then get my husband to put it up, weather dependent. At that point, the new addition will be children and teen books, and the original library will become all adult books.

Put out a bunch of new kids books yesterday. And I want to thank those of you who are stopping by and using the library. I have found some wonderful books in there lately. ❤️

I just put more kids books out in the library. Sorry. I didn't realize it was empty of those.

I've been thinking about temporarily putting an extension of the little library up by the house under the overhang of the garage in a waterproof tub. Would anyone be interested in access to a larger selection of books during this time of confinement?

Hey, does anyone have specific types of books they would like to see rotated into the library? I have tons of children's books, some preteen/teen books of various types, and various adult books. If someone is looking for specific types, I'll see what I have and/or keep an eye out at my usual book sources. ☺️
