Please join us in celebrating Darcie, our Employee of the Month at The Esther at Riverbend!

Darcie joined our team in March and brings years of caregiving, memory care, and mental health experience to our community. Her favorite part of her job? Building meaningful relationships with our residents and getting to know each one of them.

When she’s not at work, Darcie loves riding her bike, heading to the beach on her quad, and spending time with her husband and their two cats.

🎉The Esther at Riverbend Assisted Living had the incredible honor of celebrating Mr. James and his 102nd birthday!

We were so grateful to see so many friends, family members, and the VFW POST 3965 Springfield, OR community members who stopped by to celebrate this extraordinary milestone with us. It was truly a special day filled with smiles, stories, and heartfelt wishes.

Mr. James has given so much to our country through his service in the United States Marine Corps, and we are especially honored to celebrate a man whose courage and dedication were recognized with the Silver Star.

Please join us in wishing Mr. James a very Happy 102nd Birthday! What an incredible life, legacy, and example of service.

We’ve had a wonderful Luau Spirit Week filled with sunshine, smiles, tropical fun, and plenty of community spirit!

From festive activities and games to colorful outfits and lots of laughs, our team and residents have been celebrating island-style all week long.

It’s been a week of making memories, enjoying time together, and bringing a little tropical fun to The Esther!
