EAST students at Helen Tyson Middle School developed amazing eduational materials for our children and families at EOA Children's House. This group of students created take-home activity kits for summer break along with 20 guides for screen-free learning strategies for kids and parents in both English and Spanish. The students then took those 20 strategies and made them into four posters that have an activity a day, each day for the month. The students are also in the early stages of developing sensory boards that focus on regulation and fine motor skills. Thank you to this fantastic group for your continued support of our organization and mission! 💙

📣Saturday Spotlight📣
EOA is excited to announce the promotion of Renée Browning Wright to Director of Children's Services.

Renée attended the University of Arkansas, earning both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. After graduating, she served as an AmeriCorps volunteer at Jones Elementary in Springdale. It was there that she discovered how much she loved working with children and being part of a school community. That passion led her to return to school to earn a Pre-K through 4th grade teaching license.

In August of 2006, Renée joined EOA as a teacher at our Oak Center. That same school year, she stepped into the role of Center Director for both the Oak Center and the Sanders Center. In 2009, she became the Agency’s Education Manager, where she has worked to be a positive and encouraging presence for both staff and families.

"Over the years, life has been filled with many joys—my two oldest children are now married, and I am a proud grandmother to a grandson and a granddaughter. When the opportunity arose to serve as Director of Children's Services, I felt inspired to take the next step. Influenced by the strong leadership before me and the mission of EOA, I am committed to building on that foundation—continuing the great work already in place while embracing new ideas and opportunities to better serve our community." - Renée Browning Wright

Congratulations, Renée!
