Caring for our public lands is a shared responsibility, and it's one that Emmy-winning‬ actor and public lands champion Ty Burrell is proud to accept!

His support is a reminder that stewardship is not the work of one person or one organization. It is something we all take part in.

There are more than 2,000 species of cacti in the world, and we’re lucky enough that several call Zion home, including this prickly pear.

You might spot their pink blooms popping up across the area this time of year. In a few months, they’ll turn into a fruit that the animals of the canyon will feast on.

Blooms like these remind us why we do what we do: protecting the Zion region for all its visitors and inhabitants, including the prickly ones.
