🌳 REMINDER: June's Monthly Chipper Service Starts Monday! 🌳

📅 Collection Begins: Monday, June 22nd

To make sure your material is collected, please:
▪️ Set material out by Sunday evening or no later than 7:00 AM Monday
▪️ Note: There is no set daily street schedule—crews will continue until all residential streets are completed
▪️ Review additional guidelines on the website prior to collection.

📋 Guidelines & Time Limit
Crews are allotted up to 15 minutes per household to ensure everyone is serviced. Please follow these tips to maximize material collection:

▪️ Placement: At the curb by 7 AM Monday
▪️ Stacking: Neatly stack branches with cut ends facing the curb
▪️ Sidewalk Safety: If extending past the sidewalk, place parallel to the street with cut ends placed the same direction as traffic
▪️ Over the time limit? Any remaining material must be removed and can be placed out again next month

✅ Accepted Materials:
▪️ Woody branches over 1 inch in diameter and longer than 3 feet
▪️ Maximum size: 12 inches in diameter
▪️ Weight limit: Under 50 lbs per piece

❌ Not Accepted Materials:
▪️ Stumps of any size
▪️ Contractor-generated material
▪️ Yard waste, landscaping debris, or trash/waste mixed in/on pile
▪️ Small twigs/clippings (place these in your Rumpke can)

➡️Orange tags will be placed on any uncollected material, noting the reason it was not picked up. Once corrected, the material can be set out again for collection the following month.

Reminder: Public Works crews made a few operational updates to improve efficiency. To better serve residents, two crews will now be working simultaneously:
➡️ One crew will begin in Heritage Hill (east side)
➡️ One crew will begin in Beacon Hills (west side)
➡️ Both crews will work toward Springfield Pike

We had an incredible day at this year’s Jr. Olympics! 🏅

A huge thank you to all of the amazing participants who gave their best effort and made the day so much fun. 🌟

Thank you to the parents, grandparents, family members, and friends who came out to cheer on our young athletes.

We are also incredibly grateful to our volunteers who donated their time and energy to help everything run smoothly. Events like this simply wouldn’t be possible without you!

A special thank you to the Springdale Youth Boosters (SYB) for providing food, prizes, and support for the event.

We loved seeing our community come together for a day filled with fun, laughter, and friendly competition.

The City of Springdale is hosting a FREE Tire Amnesty Event to help community members responsibly dispose of unwanted tires and keep Springdale clean, safe, and environmentally friendly.

📅 Saturday, July 25
⏰ 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 City of Springdale Public Works Facility,
335 Northland Blvd., Springdale, OH

✅ All tire sizes accepted
✅ Tires accepted with or without rims
✅ Free and environmentally responsible recycling

Don't let old tires become an eyesore or a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Gather up those unwanted tires from your garage, shed, or backyard and bring them out for proper recycling.

Together, we can make Springdale cleaner, greener, and safer for everyone! 🌎♻️

🚧 I-275 WEEKEND CONSTRUCTION NOTICE 🚧

The Ohio Department of Transportation - Cincinnati District 8 has announced a weekend-long triple-lane closure on I-275 eastbound between I-75 AND US 42 in Hamilton County, beginning Friday, June 12th.

Motorists should anticipate delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes and plan extra travel time during the closure period.

Our Junior Olympics event is almost here, and we’re looking for a few more volunteers to help make this special day a success for our young athletes!
🏅 Help with Olympic-themed activity stations
🏅 Cheer on participants and keep the fun going
🏅 Assist with score keeping

No special experience is needed—just a positive attitude and a willingness to help create a memorable experience for local kids ages 10 and under.
