🌳 REMINDER: June's Monthly Chipper Service Starts Monday! 🌳
📅 Collection Begins: Monday, June 22nd
To make sure your material is collected, please:
▪️ Set material out by Sunday evening or no later than 7:00 AM Monday
▪️ Note: There is no set daily street schedule—crews will continue until all residential streets are completed
▪️ Review additional guidelines on the website prior to collection.
📋 Guidelines & Time Limit
Crews are allotted up to 15 minutes per household to ensure everyone is serviced. Please follow these tips to maximize material collection:
▪️ Placement: At the curb by 7 AM Monday
▪️ Stacking: Neatly stack branches with cut ends facing the curb
▪️ Sidewalk Safety: If extending past the sidewalk, place parallel to the street with cut ends placed the same direction as traffic
▪️ Over the time limit? Any remaining material must be removed and can be placed out again next month
✅ Accepted Materials:
▪️ Woody branches over 1 inch in diameter and longer than 3 feet
▪️ Maximum size: 12 inches in diameter
▪️ Weight limit: Under 50 lbs per piece
❌ Not Accepted Materials:
▪️ Stumps of any size
▪️ Contractor-generated material
▪️ Yard waste, landscaping debris, or trash/waste mixed in/on pile
▪️ Small twigs/clippings (place these in your Rumpke can)
➡️Orange tags will be placed on any uncollected material, noting the reason it was not picked up. Once corrected, the material can be set out again for collection the following month.
Reminder: Public Works crews made a few operational updates to improve efficiency. To better serve residents, two crews will now be working simultaneously:
➡️ One crew will begin in Heritage Hill (east side)
➡️ One crew will begin in Beacon Hills (west side)
➡️ Both crews will work toward Springfield Pike
