Good afternoon Klein High School Orchestra Families!
I am incredibly excited to announce our new Head Orchestra Director, Mr. Tesoro!
F. Cameron Tesoro is an award-winning orchestra director with nearly a decade of experience and a proven record of excellence in secondary music education. Having led orchestra programs of more than 200 students in Texas, his ensembles consistently earn UIL Sweepstakes awards, first-division ratings at music contests and festivals, and statewide recognition, including being named a Top 15 finalist in the Texas Honor Orchestra Competition and earning 1st place in Texas among Peer Group Schools. His ensembles have also performed at Jones Hall and the Texas State Capitol. Mr. Tesoro is the founder of the Klein Forest Mariachi Program and is a recipient of the Klein Education Foundation Grant. He was named a Klein ISD Distinguished Educator for the 2024–2025 school year and remains active across Texas as a clinician, conductor, and adjudicator. He is an active member of the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) and the Texas Orchestra Directors Association (TODA) and serves as a sponsor for both the Tri-M Music Honor Society and Texas Future Music Educators (TFME). Mr. Tesoro earned his Bachelor of Music Education degree from Sam Houston State University, where he also served as concertmaster of the university orchestra and was the winner of the Charles W. Jones III and David E. Payne Concerto Competition in violin.
Mr. Tesoro and his wife reside in Klein, Texas with their two beautiful children.
