GOHS Criminal Justice Club just had our first recruiting meeting of the year and we had 84 students show up. Let’s Go!

Congratulations to the 20 Grizzlies that traveled to Allen, TX to compete is the TPSA State Conference. There were over 80 schools and over 1000 students from all over the state there to compete. Our Criminal Justice students came in with a mission and I think it is safe to say we completed it and made a name for ourselves. We competed in 10 events and walked out with 5 first place finishes, more than any other school.

1st 🥇 Correctional Facility Design

We also had a student voted in as the Vice-President of the student board for next year.

Great work this year, all your hard work has definitely showed.

In 2 weeks we will be taking our High Risk Stop team to Corpus Christi for the SkillsUSA State Conference and then the year is over!

The Grand Oaks Criminal Justice team competed this weekend at the TPSA Region 3 Conference, joining over 300 students from 12 local schools.

They participated in 16 events, securing top placements in 10, with the following results:

1st Place: Building Search, Crash Investigation, Opening Statement
2nd Place: SWAT, Traffic Stop, Law Agility Male, DWI
3rd Place: Disturbance Call, Bloodspatter

Twenty students will advance to the TPSA State Conference in Allen, TX. Good luck, Grizzlies!
