San Diego County Library is kicking off Summer at Your Library, running from June 1 to August 31. You’ll find the 2026 Summer Learning challenge, events, curated booklists, eBooks of the Month and summer meal programs.

Join the Summer Learning Challenge! Register online or stop by any SDCL branch. Download a learning log to keep track of your progress. Complete 10 books, reading hours and activities by August 31.

Once you've completed the challenge, visit any of the SDCL's 33 branches to pick up your prizes! The SDCL Summer Challenge is open to all ages and abilities, and learning logs are available online in many languages.

Join us to get an up-close look at a variety of taxidermized, life-size pollinator specimens' courtesy of the Natural History Museum’s Nature to You Loan Program.
Specimens on display will include a hummingbird, butterflies and other pollinators that can be found in our backyards.

This program is provided in partnership with the Natural History Museum’s Nature to You Loan Program and the Dictionary Hill Open Space Advocates.
