Dear Ladysmith and Spring Valley Communities,
The School District of Ladysmith warmly invites community members, families, and guests to attend a special 9/11 Tribute Football Game as the Ladysmith Lumberjacks host the Spring Valley Cardinals on September 11, 2026 at Ladysmith Middle & High School. The School Districts of Ladysmith & Spring Valley wish to recognize and honor our local heroes from both communities. The evening is dedicated to recognizing and honoring our local heroes, all Veterans, Active Military members, and First Responders. We express our deepest gratitude for your service, sacrifice, and dedication to our communities and country.
Special Recognition & Complimentary Concessions
Free Refreshments: All Veterans, Active Military, and First Responders in attendance will receive a free hotdog and popcorn, courtesy of the Ladysmith Athletic Boosters.
Open Invitation: All Veterans, Active Military, and First Responders are encouraged to join us on the field for pre-game honors.
Timeline of Events
6:15 PM: Veterans, Active Military, and First Responders report.
6:30 PM: Report to the 50-yard line on the track.
6:45 PM: Presentation of the Colors, 21-Gun Salute, and playing of Taps.
6:55 PM: Playing of The Star-Spangled Banner.
7:00 PM: Kickoff.
