Earlier this week, BOMA passed Resolution 26-260 to award the contract for the Parks and Recreation Master Plan. At the recommendation of City Staff, BOMA agreed to a contract with Hodgson Douglas Landscape Architects (HDLA).
The Parks and Recreation Master Plan serves as a strategic planning tool for guiding policy decisions, capital investments, land acquisition, park development, and recreational programming for the next 10 years. The City’s original master plan was developed in 2012 and last updated in 2020.
HDLA's proposed plan includes many opportunities for the public to share input, including focus groups, workshops, public surveys, social media outreach, and more. Be on the lookout for ways to get involved as we shape the future of Parks and Recreation in Spring Hill!
