Pasco County doesn’t collect recycling directly. Instead, your hauler brings it to us.

Think Before You Toss This Thanksgiving! 🦃
As you gather with loved ones and enjoy your holiday feast, remember not everything belongs in your recycling in !

🚫 These common Thanksgiving items are NOT recyclable:
• Aluminum pie pans & turkey trays
• Solo cups & Styrofoam plates/cups
• Plastic cutlery & tablecloths

When in doubt, throw it out — or better yet, reuse when possible!
Let’s keep our recycling clean and green this holiday season.

Did you know that what we recycle here in can protect oceans everywhere?

Every plastic bottle, aluminum can, and cardboard box you recycle keeps our local waterways clean from the Cotee River all the way to the Gulf.

• Recycle Right: Keep it clean, dry, and unbagged
• No plastic bags in your recycling bin! They tangle machines and pollute our oceans
• Small actions = Big waves of change

Let’s work together to keep our oceans blue and our county green.

Pasco County,
Batteries cause fires in our facilities if thrown in household trash or recycling. Vapes and electronic smoking devices have batteries inside. Please dispose all batteries, vapes, and electronic smoking devices the right way. All Pasco County Library Systems have battery drop off locations inside, as well as your local Government Centers.
🔋Thank you! 🌻
