Love Builds A ministry that strives to point people to Jesus through relational depth in vulnerability and more!

We started in the fall of 2015 as a ministry fighting the overwhelming issue of pornography, striving to educate campus as a whole and offer help to those who are seeking it out. As we developed our ideas and vision for the ministry, God began to lead us into a time of reflecting on campus as a whole. He lead us to realize that pornography is not the heart of the issue, but that things like lust,

pornography, and sexual sin are just the fruits of a deeper wound that we are all working through. The men and women in the Love Builds community desire a space for brotherhood, for sisterhood. A place where they can be real and vulnerable with one another with what they are going through, and giving each other the space to dig deeper into the root that lies at the heart of each of these struggles.

Concluding our Women’s Love Builds leaders is Lindsey Slager! She is a senior social work major. Lindsey is the co-leader for Women’s Love Builds.

Her favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:28.

Lindsey’s vision for Love Builds is to help foster a community of women who support one another and help each other grow in their walk with Christ.

An interesting fact about Lindsey is that she is the youngest in her family (including her extended family).

To begin our introduction of the Women’s Love Builds leaders we have Jazmin MorΓ³n! She is a sophomore majoring in criminal justice with a minor in pre-law. Jazmin is the group leader for Women’s Love Builds.

Her favorite Bible verses are Jeremiah 29:12-13.

Jazmin’s vision for Love Builds is to continue to grow a community of belonging and acceptance to all the ladies on campus with hearts and eyes focused on the One above.
An interesting fact about Jazmin is that she loves car washes.
