THANK-YOU to Spring Arbor voters!
Our Fire Department as well as the Township Board would like to express our appreciation to the residents of Spring Arbor Twp for approving the Fire Millage renewal on August 6th.
We are committed to providing the highest quality Fire Dept in the most economic way possible. The millage assures that we will be able to maintain our present building, equipment and put money away for future equipment replacement.
We do have an URGENT NEED for personnel on our Fire Department. Our department is staffed by two Full time firefighters M-F 8am to 5pm. Presently we have an additional 18 men and woman part time paid on call volunteers on our team. Most of our firefighters are your friends and neighbors who work full time jobs outside of the township. They respond after work and weekends to our emergencies. WE NEED MORE HELP. Currently, we have 12 positions that we need to fill to lighten the load and be availible for emergencies. If you are 18 or know of someone 18 years old or older that would like to serve our community and make a difference, we want to talk with them.
Stay safe Spring Arbor and know that on your worst day your fire department will be there!

The number of calls responded to by Spring Arbor Fire Department has been on the rise every year since 2000, with a notable increase from 470 calls in 2000 to 1210 calls in 2023 as a paid on-call department. We ask you to support our Fire Millage Renewal on August 6!
