Job Responsibilities:
-Safely operate hydrovac truck for excavation and utility work
-Perform daylighting, trenching, and debris removal
-Maintain equipment and ensure proper daily inspections
-Work closely with crew members and job site supervisors
-Follow all safety regulations and company standards

Requirements:
-Valid CDL (Required)
-Experience operating hydrovac or similar equipment preferred
-Strong work ethic and reliability
-Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
-Safety-focused mindset

Our Target Zero Safety Initiative is implemented daily with the goal of Zero Accidents, Zero Incidents, and Zero Injuries. We do this by utilizing a very detailed safety plan, diligent planning and logistics, daily safety inspections, briefs and tool box talks, combined with industry leading safety equipment, PPE, and technology. This is why we have an EMR rating well below industry standard with a next to zero reportable accident record.

We value our teammates and their safety. We put their safety and the safety of others at the forefront of EVERYTHING we do.

Seth and his crew are wrapping up a massive Duct Bank totaling approx. 2 miles of trench and 25,000 LF of conduit at our ongoing West Lake Project in Stafford, VA. This Duct Bank will provide Dominion Primary and Secondary Electric and Verizon Primary not only to this impressive 600 acre housing development but also to the onsite pump station that is currently under construction. As always, an outstanding job by Seth and his crew! We appreciate you guys!

This week Barry Jr. and crew worked night shift at UVA in Charlottesville on our Second Year Student Housing project.

We have been working on this project off and on since 2022.

Barry and his crew were working to tie-in two fire hydrants to an offsite 16" waterline and due to the volume of vehicle and pedestrian traffic as well as the need to shut down a critical infrastructure facility to allow us to cut-in two 16" Tees, this work had to be completed after hours.

A big shout out and thank you to Barry Jr., his crew and their families for sacrificing and executing this night work to expand our community and complete our project proffesionally and safely without disrupting local residents and businesses.

This crew also recently completed over a months worth of night shift on this same project to install a critical Duct Bank accross Ivy Rd which is the main corridor of UVA. This Duct Bank provided electric and telecom capabilities to this massive project.

Great work team! We appreciate you! 🙏 💪

Got Rocks!? 🪨

Jeff and his pipe crew removed this rock from a trench line in Charlottesville on our Old Ivy Residences Project where we are installing approx. 4500 LF of Sanitary Sewer and another 1300 LF of Storm. This rock was found after most of our trenchlines were blasted. This one must have eluded the blasting crew! 💥

Fun fact: This project is home to a burial site of one of George Washington's horses 🐎. It is now a protected landmark and safe from any construction activities!

Recently some men from a couple of our pipe crews completed Medium Diameter Butt Fusion training and certification. 📖

This is in preparation for Phase 1 of our Mattameade Tech Campus project which we will be starting soon in Thornburg. We will have two pipe crews fusing and installing approximatley 12,000 Linear Trench Feet with approximately 24,000 Linear Feet of 3", 4", 8" & 16" HDPE Pipe along with valves, hydrants and other appurtanences. Additionally we will have a few thousand feet of other wet utilities on the project as part of county improvements. 💪

We are excited to start this project and are looking forward to other large fusion application projects we have coming in the near future. 🚀

A big thank you and congratulations goes out to our staff that worked diligently to complete their training and certification process to become certified Medium Diameter Butt Fusion Operators! 👏
