UPDATE -Gregory was located safe 10-26-25 2:49pm.

ATTN ***Missing Person***

Spooner PD is attempting to locate Gregory Petersen. Greg was last seen yesterday (10-25-25), leaving his residence at 2:31pm. He has not been in contact with family since and has medical needs. Greg does not have a car, and has no phone and no money with him. It's unknown if he was picked up by someone or if he is on foot. Greg was last wearing a white Packers stocking cap, dark shirt, and dark pants.

The Spooner Police Department would like to give a huge thank you to the Spooner-Trego Lions Club for their generous Donation. The Lions Club donated $2,397.00 to help the Police Department purchase 3 Automated External Defibrillators (AED) units. These AED's are are so important to the Spooner Police Department for life saving measures during a major medical issue.

The Spooner Police Department took a report of a scam call today. The Scammer is reporting that he is Chief Kronberger of the City of Spooner PD and telling people to change out their bank accounts giving new routing numbers along with collecting the their Social Security numbers to assist in preventing them from being scammed in the future. This is not accurate.

Do not fall for this scam. This is not a true.
