Full Closure Monday, June 1st through Thursday, June 4th for culvert replacements.
Detour via Nice Lake Road and Berry Road.
Access to be maintained to residents living on the project.

Effective May 13th, 2026
All County Roads in Washburn County are now open to ATV/UTV traffic.
Signs are posted at all border crossings authorizing use of the County Roads and No ATV Traffic signs are installed where there is not a direct crossing of the State Highway.
An updated map showing all County Roads are open will be posted on the Highway Department Website.
Please drive safe and be respectful of others while driving on our Highways.

CTH A ROAD CLOSURE SCHEDULED IN THE TOWN OF STONE LAKE

Pulverizing, grading, shaping, paving and shouldering is scheduled for a short section of CTH A east of Fred Tripp Road.
Thursday, May 7th, 6:30a – 3:30p. Expect flagging operations for pulverizing.
Monday, May 11th through Thursday, May 14th 6:30a – 3:30p. Full closures scheduled each day with the roadway being open each night.

There will be no posted detour.

ROAD CLOSURE SCHEDULED IN THE TOWN OF TREGO

Grading, Gravel Hauls, Shaping and Paving scheduled on Trego Park Road.
Monday, May 4th, 2026 through May 14th, 2026. M-Th from 6:30a – 3:30p.
Early June for Paving
Expect intermittent full closures while work is going on. Crews will work to let people in and out as needed.

LONG LAKE SPRING 2026

END OF 25/26 DRAWDOWN

DATE: April 16, 2026

Ice is now out on Long Lake and water levels are being returned to normal pool elevation. During the refill process, flow needs to be maintained on the Brill River. Expect 3+ weeks to get to normal pool elevation.

Ice is now out on Birch Lake and water levels are being returned to normal pool elevation. During the refill process, flow needs to be maintained downstream of the dam. Expect 3 or more weeks for the refill process.

Culvert replacement on Perry Lane at Wilbur Drive Intersection
Monday, April 13, 2026 from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Perry Lane will be closed at the culvert pipe location while work is in progress.
