Surprised? Reply if you are part of the “7”

When nearly 7 in 10 Spokane County residents say they’re considering leaving, leaders should pay attention.

I find most often that people aren’t looking for perfection. They’re looking for stability, opportunity, and common sense governance. Higher taxes, rising costs, and policies disconnected from everyday reality are pushing families and businesses to look elsewhere.

Washington deserves leadership focused on making this a place people want to stay, build, and raise a family.

This is Rob Linebarger, Spokane County GOP Chair and a Republican Precinct Committee Officer. Our voter rolls are a mess! Secretary of State Hobbs and Attorney General Brown are defying DOJ efforts to review and remove illegal, duplicate, and deceased voters to prevent ballots from being issued and illegally returned. While we appreciate DOJ stepping in, this is our problem to solve and the solution is IP26-500 which will place a “proof of citizenship”requirement to register to vote in Washington State. We need 40,000 signatures from Spokane County, I have signature sheets, and if you would like to add your name to the petition reply to this text and I’ll come to you. If you haven't signed the Initiative that would put the requirement of Proof of Citizenship to REGISTER to VOTE on the November General Election Ballot, tomorrow's Hero's Walk is your chance to get it done.

The Hero's Walk event is also a great opportunity to show appreciation for our Veterans and Active Duty Military members particularly those who are serving overseas, in harm's way, and selflessly defend the Liberty and Freedom we, as Citizens of the United States of America, are privileged to possess and must be vigilant in protecting each and every day.

We will be set up near the Carousel in Riverfront Park. Hope to see you all tomorrow.
