Folks in Walla Walla! Here's your opportunity to help Carmela! This coming Saturday you can walk with Carmela in the county fair parade and/or canvass after.

And for those who want a debate... here's the first one. Set in Spokane, make sure you get your tickets. If you aren't in the area, the event will be streamed on KSPS/PBS and the Spokesman's You Tube site.

Tonight is our end-of-month deadline, and I want to be clear with you about why it matters.

Our reports are public. Supporters, reporters, and the people deciding whether this race is worth watching all look at one number: how many people gave. Not how much any single donor believes in this campaign.

Conroy for Congress is running to represent Washington’s Fifth Congressional District after a 25-year career in the U.S. Foreign Service. Her diplomatic service included assignments across Asia, Europe, South Asia, and the Pacific, with work in political affairs, consular operations, public diplomacy, and interagency coordination. Conroy’s national-security background includes service as Principal Officer at the U.S. Consulate General in Naha, Japan; political advisor to the Provincial Reconstruction Team in Bamyan, Afghanistan; watch officer in the State Department Operations Center; and political-military affairs work at the U.S. Embassy in Oslo. Her profile brings direct diplomatic, crisis-management, alliance, and overseas national-security experience to the race.
