Ecuador president Correo is raising taxes after the 8 subduction earthquake. Washington should raise taxes before our next subduction earthquake and build up Eastern Washington economy with efficient social spending. If we spend on welfare, housing and education kids will prosper and learn helping our economy. This means more retail sales. Spending on housing stimulates the timber and construction industry. The current tax puts excessive money in the stock exchange because the rich only pay 2.4% . The people of Washington should demand the rich pay an income tax and other taxes.

Homeless students increasing(1.5 million): welfare & wages to low, disadvantages of motels and shelters. Problems in school: worry, hunger, distracted, moving, low graduation. Clothing drive. Human Kind NPR. / I passed out welfare leaflets so we got 9% welfare increase, Washington State Sen Nelson proposed $300 million for homeless, democrats in congress increased welfare and food stamps in stimulus package. The poor not well organized and the poor don't work on taxes. We and Bernie will continue to work on welfare, housing and taxes so we will treat kids good like in Scandinavia.

When Pres Kennedy said “We will go to the moon” the rich were paying 90% taxes and when we went the moon the rich were paying 60% taxes. These high taxes allowed Truman and Eisenhower to pay the huge debts from WW2. If we get the taxes and efficiency that Bernie, we and adaction.org want we will able do great things and pay the debts of the Prescription Drug Benefit , the Iraq war and the Afghanistan war. Pres Bush passed these when cutting taxes so he did not pay for them.

We need a stronger welfare, housing and food-stamp programs to help the people in rural areas, reservations and inner city were jobs have disappeared. Food-stamps support grocery stores and farmers. A good safety-net will mean more businesses and jobs for people. Go Bernie

The USA has 3 times the rate of mental illness as Europe because of inequality and lack of quality child-care. (google inequality mental illness) 1 in 4 women in USA are prescribed psychiatric drugs. 1 in 7 men in USA are prescribed psychiatric drugs. We are over medicating people rather than raising the minimum-wage, improving the safety-net and improving child-care. Go Bernie

Bryan Bremner IPad When we moved back here in 2001 and for a few years after, the trout fish net-pens were 13 feet deep. It was noticed that there was a lot of mortalitly during hot periods. Our net-pens are now 25-30 feet deep and our mortality has gone way down. How long until we need 50 foot nets? When will the whole lake get up to 70 degrees in the summer? When that happens you can pretty much kiss the trout goodbye.

Einstein with relativity corrected Newton laws of motion so they fit the universe. USA anti poverty programs cause low graduation rate, increased mental health problems, many more people in jail and homelessness. We and Bernie can change the USA social welfare system with the Scandinavian model so more young people will graduate and have a good life.

Reagan and Bush tax cuts force the USA to have mini programs. Homeless veterans and Homeless Youth programs are only about $100 million each. We and Bernie will repeal many republican tax cuts and help the formerly homeless to have a good life. We are wasting the talents of many young people.
